Barrichello Wins European Grand Prix
Plenty of value in F1 betting odds this weekend when Rubens Barrichello wins the European Grand Prix after opening up at 21.00 in first f1 odds markets before qualifying for the European Grand Prix began. Barichello posted his first Grand Prix victory since winning the 2004 Chinese Grand Prix.
It was an emotional win for the popular Brazilian who took the race lead after the second round of pit stops, going on to record a comfortable victory for Brawn GP who extended their lead in the F1 Constructors title picking up 12 points while Red Bull failed to add to their tally after Sebastien Vettel failed to finish due to a blown engine while Australian F1 driver Mark Webber could only manage 9th place.
The bookies favourite Lewis Hamilton showed his class in the after race interviews. He could have rightly blamed his crew for not winning his second straight race after they failed to have the tyres ready for his second pit stop, losing valuable time which enabled Barrichello to take the race lead. He would have won a lot of people over with the way he spoke about that incident.
F1 points leader Jenson Button continues to struggle. Wasn’t really a track for overtaking and he could off to a poor start which was basically the end of his race. Nothing more than good fortune resulted in him picking up 2 invaluable points in the title race.
