Vettel Gives Red Bull First Ever Pole
German F1 driver Sebastian Vettel surprised everyone in final Qualifying giving Red Bull Racing their maiden pole position for Sunday’s Chinese Grand Prix. F1 Betting Odds on Vettel to claim pole were 16/1 and 14/1 to win the Chinese Grand Prix. The German who will start alongside Fernando Alonso, is now a 10/3 (4.33) third elect in F1 betting on the Chinese Grand Prix winner behind Jenson Button 5/2 and Rubens Barichello 3/1.
Alonso certainly caused a major surprise in Q3 with the improved performance of his Renault and bookmakers have reacted trimming his price into 8/1 in F1 odds to win the Chinese Grand Prix. You could freely get 25/1 before he claimed a front row start.
Rubens Barichello was the fastest man on the circuit when you take into account the extra fuel load he carried. Yes, faster than world drivers championship leader Jenson Button.
